Bic Techno Plus World champs Day 4

Day 4
Ground hog day: sunny and excellent forecast. 12-15knot south winds.

Grae Morris’s fleet was 1st to hit the water with a schedule of 3 back to back races.

Unfortunately he has a gear failure in the first race and limped around with a centreboard flap dragging in the water and recorded a shocker, but after a quick repair he was back on the water, just in time for the wind to kick to 22 knots.
The race committee made an excellent decision to have slalom on the downwind legs, which was fantastic to watch and for the kids to show off their Jibing skills.
Grae finished the day with a 24th (best result yet) and that was after another cr@p start.

Tomorrow is same forecast with 2 races. We are both excited to continue the learning and can’t wait for tomorrow already.

I have not mentioned the number of young ladies competing at this event. Really pretty inspiring as they are so talented and way happier than your average teenage boy.
Also threw in a photo of the top 3 jersey presentation that happens at the beginning of everyday.

Ps, best photo of the day was Grae main sponsor getting a full plug.
