Rain and wind. Seriously great conditions until the lightning bolts started.

Only 1 of the scheduled 3 races was completed, as the organisers made the call to clear the beach for safety reasons (good call). That said it did Seem a bit premature as the lightning disappeared and a full afternoon of perfect 15-20knots of wind was left begging.

So now we can have up to 3 races tomorrow to complete the full quota. Hopefully the wind holds in, but the forecast is for it to die. Still, you never know. Fingers crossed.

Ps; Grae Morris clocked up his 12th sh@t house start of the event, but managed to claw back to 30th. I’m holding my breath for a race where he decides to start at the same time as everyone else. Clearly easier said than done. It has become a standing joke between us now.
